I'd like to mention not only John, my husband, and Lucy & Gwynn, but also friends, without whom I wouldn't have been able to get to choir.
So,hooray for all those who not only help us, but understand what we're going through.

I'd have to nominate Jeff, who took semi-retirement five years early so he could be around more to help me. And, like Lyn, I'd have to nominate various friends for their help and support the two days Jeff's at work, especially for all the lifts now I can't drive.

I would like to nominate my husband Trevor.
I have been to hell and back in the last year - been diagnosed with thyroid problems and Addisons Disease and felt so ill most of the year. Had problems with my knee so couldn't drive for four months and generally couldn't even cook for awhile. Trevor has done everything for me. He has had to help me shower, help me go to the toilet, cooked, cleaned, ironed and generally loved me so much and made me feel special even when I was too tired to breathe. He is one in a million - so special and I am so lucky. Both my children are incredibly supportive as well and without them live would be very empty.
Mary x
